Data visualisation workshop

24 April 2018

Data visualisation workshop

Illustration taken from Croft, Terrell: Steam-engine principles and practice, McGraw-Hill, New York, 1922.

Workshop about data visualisation organised jointly by the Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) and the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH).

In this first shared workshop organised by the C²DH and the LCSB we will present different approaches to data visualisation and their specific challenges. The presentations will cover a broad range of projects but it is our intention to demonstrate and to showcase, that data visualisation as an abstraction offers tremendous opportunities for cooperation across different domains. The workshop will be concluded by a discussion session to identify these opportunities and to sketch different trajectories for cooperation within and beyond the University of Luxembourg.
