There is more than just one East Berlin. People made very different experiences with the capital of the GDR. Hence there are also plenty of different memories of the East German capital. Workshop report: Rethinking the Histories and Legacies of Industrial Cities

On 10 and 11 December 2020, the C²DH has hosted an online workshop. This event was organised as part of the research project “Remixing Industrial Pasts in the Digital Age: Sounds, Images, Ecologies, Practices and Materialities in Space and Time”. This workshop brought together academics from different countries to analyse the evolution of industrial cities during the 20th century.
