    New consortium to enable interoperability of historical data

    On the 23-24 November 2017, Francesco Beretta (CNRS/Université de Lyon, LARIAH) and George Bruseker (FORTH, Center for Cultural Heritage - Institute of Computer Science, Heraklion) invited several research groups from digital history, who deal with the production of historical data to Lyon. The gathered researchers started a consortium that will enable the interoperability of their historical data.

    Last week I attended the Oxford Digital Humanities Summer School and took part in the Linked Open Data workshop. The Summer School started out with TEI courses in 1997, but has now grown to include eight workshop strands for over 250 participants.
