DHBenelux is an initiative that aims to further collaboration between Digital Humanities (DH) activities, research, and scholarship in Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The conference serves as a platform for the community of interdisciplinary DH researchers to meet, present, and discuss their latest research findings and to demonstrate tools and projects.
Every year, the consortium hosts a conference which rotates among institutions in the different countries. This year, the DHBenelux conference takes place in Luxembourg, 1-3 June 2022, Belval Campus and online and it is organised by the C²DH. This year, the conference’s central theme is ‘RE-MIX: creation and alteration in DH’ (alluding to the theme of the European Capital of Culture, Esch-sur-Alzette). During this three-day conference, humanities scholars, developers, computer and information scientists as well as art galleries, librarians, archivists and museum curators (GLAM) will gather to share the state-of-the-art in DH. The conference also will host social events and a social dinner.
