On 14 and 15 November 2019, the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt am Main organised a research symposium on “Open Practices in Education (OPINE)”. The symposium raised fundamental questions about open science, open education and open scholarship.

Transatlantic Perspectives on Digital Hermeneutics

On 10-12 October 2019, the international conference ‘Digital Hermeneutics: from Research to Dissemination’ took place at the German Historical Institute (GHI) in Washington DC. The conference aimed to critically reflect on the radical impact of the digital turn on all stages of historical research, including archiving, research, analysis, interpretation and dissemination on a transatlantic level.
