The contribution serves as an example of enabling permeability between philosophy and history within the frame work of educational science. It deals with the epistemological, material, political, and categorical conditions, some of which initiate a separation of historical science from philosophy, whereas others allow, on the one hand, for history to profit from philosophy and, on the other, for philosophy to profit from history. The First Member State Rebellion? The European Court of Justice and the negotiations of the 'Luxembourg protocol' of 1971’

This article delves into the history of the negotiations of the ‘Luxembourg protocol’ of 1971, which conferred jurisdiction upon the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for the interpretation of the 1968 Brussels convention. The protocol provided a preliminary ruling procedure that had undergone restrictive modifications in comparison with the European Economic Community (EEC) treaty’s original (Article 177). Some have, therefore, interpreted the outcome of the negotiations as a sign that the mechanism was being criticised in national administrations.

Inspired by experiences with doing experimental research in the fields of history of science, archaeology and musicology this essay aims at reflecting on the heuristic potential of experimental media archaeology for a history of technology interested in the sensorial dimension of technology. Based on the concept of re-enactment, experimental media archaeology tries to explore new ways of experiencing and understanding the materiality of media technologies by interacting with these objects in a playful manner.

Background: The human neuroblastoma cell line, SH-SY5Y, is a commonly used cell line in studies related to neurotoxicity, oxidative stress, and neurodegenerative diseases. Although this cell line is often used as a cellular model for Parkinson’s disease, the relevance of this cellular model in the context of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and other neurodegenerative diseases has not yet been systematically evaluated.
