The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History C²DH is the University of Luxembourg’s third interdisciplinary research centre; as such, it receives public funding via the University of Luxembourg.
The C²DH is also developing strategic partnerships to boost its research budget with third-party funding and secure its position and identity as an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Luxembourg. The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) is a key partner in funding the C²DH’s projects. Partnerships have also been concluded with cultural institutions in Luxembourg and the Ministries of Education and Justice, as well as European Union institutions based in Luxembourg and elsewhere.
Contacts have been forged with industry with a view to establishing agreements, in particular for the creation of research chairs or the development of research projects. The C²DH will also be a partner in the organisation of activities for “Esch 2022 – European Capital of Culture”, where it will coordinate a number of projects and digital exhibitions.
