Yannick Frantz is a PhD Candidate at the C²DH. Within the research project MEMLUXSHOAH and in partnership with the Fondation luxembourgeoise pour la mémoire de la Shoah he is contributing to the curation and expansion of the Mémorial digital de la Shoah au Luxembourg. In the same context, he is realizing a doctoral thesis on the escape and expulsion trajectories of Jews from Luxembourg.
Yannick holds a Bachelor´s degree in History from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, a Master’s degree in Contemporary History from the Université Paris-Sorbonne and the Université Paul-Valéry-Montpellier as well as a Master’s degree in Holocaust Studies from the University of Haifa.
His research focus lies on Social History, Migration History, and the History of the Holocaust.
