Linda is a doctoral researcher

Linda Graul, a doctoral researcher at the Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) in Luxembourg, is currently engaged in a thesis project under the supervision of Prof. Benoît Majerus. Her research endeavors to delve into the aryanisation of assets in Luxembourg's financial sector during the 1940s. The research project, which initially aims to examine the processes of financial spoliation during the Occupation from a broad perspective, also encompasses the legal framework of indemnification, compensation practices and the commemorative aspects of the spoliation in the post-war period.

She has earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Luxembourg and a Master's degree in Public History from the Freie Universität Berlin. For the latter, her thesis examined the self-portrayal of the Second World War's quantitatively most significant victim groups in post-war Luxembourg (1944-1948).»
