Joana is an administrative assistant

Joana Da Silva holds a Master's degree in Modern European History from Humboldt University in Berlin. In her thesis, she worked on how nationalistic feelings were propageted in Europe in the late 19th and 20th century in order to justify the First World War and to motivate soldiers to sacrifice themselves. She began her professional career in November 2019 as a desk coordinator for the Europe Direct Information Centre at the University of Luxembourg, and in May 2020 she joined the C²DH Team  as a part-time administrative assistant.
