Andreas Wirsching is a professor of contemporary history at the University of Munich and the director of the Institute for Contemporary History Munich-Berlin (IfZ).
His main purpose during his Luxembourg stay is to work on a larger book manuscript that reassesses the question of continuities in German history between 1871 and 1933/45 in a European context.
