Drawing on UNESCO's Archival Sources to Research Literacy Campaigns in Latin America in the 1950s

From September 3 to 6, the C²DH at the University of Luxembourg, the headquarters of the IFPH, hosted over 300 public historians.

The “Dancing Esch” research project studies the festive sociabilities of the Luxembourgish mining basin during the 1920-1980. It focuses on popular balls in Esch-sur-Alzette, a town shaped by the mining and steel industry.
