"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". How about playing with it?

Digital games are increasingly recognised as powerful educational tools, able to shape historical culture by attracting, engaging, and emotionally involving a wider audience.

The lecture series History @ Play focuses on the intersection between gaming and public history drawing from the experience of both scholars and game designers to explore the affordances of interactive narratives and digital games.

Visual designer Claudia Molinari and creative writer Matteo Pozzi from the award-winning indie gaming studio We are Müesli will discuss the challenges and opportunities of designing narrative games set in modern and contemporary history.
