This session aims to create a space for open discussion and networking for early career scholars (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers). Organised by three advanced scholars with strong expertise in web archives, this 90-minute session will focus first on the role and place of web archives in research, including how case studies, close and distant reading, and different tools and methods may be used, refined, and presented in research.

Cet atelier souhaite contribuer à penser l’éducation au numérique pour toutes et tous, et notamment en s’affranchissant des contraintes techniques ou en dépassant les stéréotypes de genre. L’atelier mêlera des éclairages théoriques et des exercices pratiques. Il proposera notamment de revenir sur l’histoire des femmes dans l’informatique des années 1950 à aujourd’hui. Il offrira également des pistes à explorer et des activités pour la mise en pratique d’une éducation au numérique inclusive dans les classes (de l’école au lycée).

The aim of the study is to address the question of using generative AI in creative writing assignments starting from the hypothesis that preliminary simulations of AI-based pedagogic scenarios can help instructors to better understand the inner mechanisms of these technologies and their possible impact on the learning, assignment completion and evaluation processes. After the 1957 Rome Treaties, which introduced the principle of gender pay parity, research began to open up to questions surrounding equality and women’s role in political processes and European integration. Since the mid-1970s, further attention has been given to women in international relations, with a particular focus on pacifist activism during the Second World War, the development of the feminist movement, human rights, gender and intersectionality, and women in post-war diplomacy.

The "Personenstandsaufnahme" of 10 October 1941, a census conducted by the German occupier in Luxembourg with additional questions on nationality, mother tongue and ethnicity, is one of the best-known historical events in Luxembourg's contemporary history. The practices ofselection, curation, and interpretation of archival sources have been deeply affected by newscientific virtues such as accessibility, sharing, and participation. Web 2.0 technologies and the Internet gave rise to a new type of archive resulting from real time “capture culture” and “event crawls”.
