C²DH Fellowship Programme 2023

The C²DH fellowship programme is an opportunity for researchers from around the world to complete a research stay in Luxembourg. The programme is open to both early-career and experienced researchers with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary research in contemporary history. The fellows are expected to pursue their own research while also sharing ideas, practices, and skills with C²DH scholars. As an international hub in digital history, with a team representing 26 different nationalities, the C²DH offers the possibility of establishing new contacts and developing new cooperation.

"My time at the C²DH fulfilled me professionally and personally. By joining the center for almost three months, I met dozens of people engaging in stimulating historical research and new digital experimentation. One highlight of my time at C²DH was attending the “Women’s narratives and European integration history” conference in April. As a women’s and gender historian, but of American history in the nineteenth century, it was helpful to meet scholars who focused on women and their leadership but in a different context of time and place."  Caroline Geer
