As editors of the special issue, we try to summarize here the historiographic trends of the field. We argue that the field of research is accommodating the diversity of the institutional, social and political developments. But there is no narrative in sight which can explain the psychiatry of the 20th century, comparable to the authoritative coherence achieved for the 19th century. In contrast, the efforts to extend these narratives to the 20th century are largely missing the most impressive transformation of psychiatric treatment — and self-definition.

In the framework of the research project "Pierre Werner and Europe", interview with Hans Tietmeyer, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank from 1993 to 1999, carried out by the Centre Virtuel de la Connaissance sur l’Europe (CVCE) on 10 February 2011 in Königstein im Taunus.

Ziel dieser Kolloquienreihe war es, sich mit der Struktur der Minderheitenpolitik des neugegründeten polnischen Staates zu befassen um die Komplexität und Vielfalt dieser Politiken zu verstehen. Die Beiträge von Forschern aus Polen, der Ukraine, aus Deutschland sowie die Gliederung der Vorträge nach den verschiedenen Zweigen der staatlichen Organisationen boten dazu ergänzende Zugänge. Die einzelnen Vorträge handelten von den grundlegenden Konzeptionen der Minderheitspolitik in Polen in der Zwischenkriegszeit, deren Durchführung und die Rezeption durch die Minderheiten.

Cet article se propose de montrer comment le « modèle Internet » – entendu comme un écosystème en évolution constante, sous l’effet du développement du Web, de ses usages commerciaux et grand public, des (re)compositions de la chaî- ne de valeur Internet – pose, depuis le développement d’Arpanet à la fin des années 1960, des questions de modélisa- tion et de gestion des flux.

La Neutralité d'Internet peut apparaître comme une notion avant tout technique. Toutefois, derrière la question de l'équité du traitement des données, se jouent des rapports de force entre acteurs économiques (fournisseurs d'accès à Internet, fournisseurs de contenus et de services .) qui ont des implications sur l'accès aux contenus, l'innovation et l'unité de l'Internet.

In the aftermath of World War II, two migration streams entered Belgium: former allied soldiers from Poland and former Ostarbeiterinnen from the Soviet Union. This book focused on these people's attempts to give meaning to their war experiences in post-war life, and delineates the various processes they used to understand and articulate what they have been through.
