Paul is a Master student in Contemporary European history

Paul Fonck is currently enrolled as a Master student in Contemporary European History at the University of Luxembourg. His thesis focuses on the role of Luxembourgish notaries during World War II and how they were treated after the war, with a special focus on the process of denazification. He studied history, philosophy and political science in Luxembourg, Erlangen and New Caledonia and was part of the student team that won the European Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2015 for the @RealTimeWW1 project. In early 2017, he published a paper on the Human Rights League of Luxembourg in „Human Rights Leagues in Europe (1898-2016)“, edited by Prof. Wolfgang Schmale & Dr. Christopher Treiblmayr.
