Branimir Stanimirov is a Research Associate in the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History. He is currently conducting research into the development of a common European Security Strategy in the early Cold War period by examining the Archives of the Western European Union. Prior to joining the C2DH Branimir worked for the European Commission and the Bulgarian national administration. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the European Institute in Nice, France and a Master’s degree in European Political Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. His research interests are mainly related to European and international history, European Union studies, international relations theories, social and political philosophy and the region of South-Eastern Europe.
