The French national Thomas Cauvin, currently Professor of History at the University of Colorado and President of the International Federation for Public History, will join the C²DH at the University of Luxembourg thanks to an FNR ATTRACT fellowship endowed with 2 million euros (over five years).

Text mining 200 years of historical newspapers - online event.

We are calling for abstracts for our workshop on “Histories of Maintenance and Repair”, which will be held at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) on 03-04 September 2020.

On 12 November, the REMIX team visited the town of Esch-sur-Alzette and the surrounding industrial sites. The visit was organised and guided by Denis Scuto, the C²DH Vice-Director and a true Escher at heart. In addition to its exploratory purposes, the full-day tour proved to be an excellent bonding experience for the REMIX team.

This Forum Z centres around three themes related to Holocaust history and memory – Holocaust history in the digital age, the Holocaust and Jewish life in Luxembourg, and combating anti-Semitism in contemporary Europe.
