Jan is a former PhD Candidate

Jan Lotz was a PhD candidate at the University of Luxembourg. He holds a Bachelor degree from the Saarland University (“The logistics of Hannibal’s crossing of the Alps”, 2013) and a Master degree from the University of Cologne (“The role of Quintus Fabius Maximus during the Second Punic War”, 2016). Since March 2017 Jan Lotz conducts a PhD research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andrea Binsfeld focusing on the textile trade in Gallia, Germania and Raetia during the Roman Empire.

He obtained his PhD in 2021.
