George was a Doctoral Researcher working on the PHACS project

George Lawson holds a master’s degree in Public History from Royal Holloway, University of London (United Kingdom). During this degree, he investigated the role of design in the creation of effective oral history exhibits and experimented with a low-cost immersive technique for virtually presenting heritage sites through stereoscopic photography.  His MA project Built Perspective applied this research to create a digital exhibition focusing on Britain’s brutalist heritage sites conveying built environments through 3D photography.

George also holds a Modern History and Politics bachelor’s degree from Royal Holloway, University of London (United Kingdom).  His thesis investigated the impact of Cold War technologies on the aesthetics of western domestic design.
